A loan helped to buy 6 sheep, 4 goats, 5 sacks of animal feed and vaccines, as well as to save money to redo her farmyard and build on an undeveloped parcel of land.

Rosalie's story

Rosalie is a 55 year old married woman with5 children between the ages of 17 and 29. One of the children goes to school and she has 2 dependent persons in her household. She has been raising sheep and goats for 10 years in a neighbourhood located on the outskirts of the capital city. This is her second loan with the Yikri MFI.

She is asking for a loan to buy 6 sheep, 4 goats, 5 sacks of animal feed and vaccines in order to raise her pigs and sell them at the appropriate time to make a good profit. She wants to reinvest the profits in her business and save money to redo her farmyard and to build on an undeveloped parcel of land.
