09-Bv Sope Serigne Babacar Sy Thioffy Group's story

These women are members of the banc villageois which was established in April 2018. They live in the same neighbourhood and get on well with each other. They are engaged in small business in order to have some independence. Aissata, aged 60, is married and has four children, including two daughters. With her new loan, she plans to buy crates of fish and onions from wholesalers to retail in her village. Her profits will enable her to pay the interest, increase her savings, and to meet the family's needs in terms of food, health and clothing.
