Francine is a client of the MFI Hekima and the president of the village group Iragi. She's 37 years old, married and the mother of 11 children, including 9 who go to school. Her partner is a farmer.
She sells food products, a business she started 20 years ago with start up funds received from her husband. Later on, she joined Hekima's program to support her business, which enabled her to evolve progressively.
She will use this new loan to buy sweet potatoes wholesale, which will strengthen her working capital. Her business doesn't face any issue. She would like that her children continue to study, and to develop her business.
In the end, she thanks Hekima and its partners for supporting owners of non bankable businesses in this context of global crisis linked to Covid-19.
Only the group leader appears in the photograph due to Covid-19 and social distancing measures.
