A loan helped a Mexican and women-owned first-of-its-kind supermarket in Prairie Grove open its doors.

Maria's story

Hello everyone! I'm Maria , and I want to share the inspiring story behind my dream of entrepreneurship. Since my childhood, I witnessed the tireless effort and dedication that my mother, a talented cook, put into her work. I grew up among pots and pans, watching her prepare taquitos and barbacoa, traditional dishes from Hidalgo. This early experience not only taught me the importance of hard work, but also planted the seed of entrepreneurship and passion for the food industry and customer service in me. My family - my husband Waldin, and our children, Miguel and Issel "Manguito" - have been my greatest inspiration and support on this entrepreneurial journey.
