Sometimes, a partnership delivers impact that goes beyond its original goals. When Kiva launched its collaboration with The Coca-Cola Foundation to expand financial access for women entrepreneurs worldwide, Saadia Madsbjerg was at the center of that work. As President of The Coca-Cola Foundation, she brought not only vision and leadership but also a genuine enthusiasm for Kiva’s mission. The results of that partnership were powerful, and they also sparked a lasting connection. Since then, Saadia has been a valued thought partner, bringing fresh perspectives and opening doors that have supported Kiva’s path forward.
So it is with great excitement that we welcome Saadia Madsbjerg to Kiva’s Board of Directors, furthering a relationship grounded in shared purpose.
“Saadia brings a rare combination of strategic insight, operational excellence, and heartfelt commitment to impact. Her leadership in reshaping the role of capital — so it serves both purpose and profit — aligns powerfully with Kiva’s mission. I’m confident her voice and experience will help guide Kiva to even greater heights in dismantling financial barriers and expanding access to opportunity.”
— Andre Haddad, Kiva Board Chair
