Thoa
A loan of $1,925 helps to buy acacia trees.

Thoa's story
Mrs. Thoa is 55 years old and currently lives alone in Ngọc Lặc district. She is a member of an ethnic minority group in Vietnam and is the sole caregiver for her elderly mother-in-law, who is no longer able to work.
With over 20 years of farming experience, Mrs. Thoa also works as a domestic helper to supplement her income. Despite her efforts, her household is considered a low-income family in the local area. To create a more stable source of income during her spare time, she plans to invest in planting acacia trees. In addition to supporting her livelihood, she hopes this effort will contribute to environmental protection by greening barren hills and reducing soil erosion. This is her first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI, and it is intended to provide the capital she needs to begin her acacia plantation.
Looking ahead, Mrs. Thoa wishes for good health, happiness, and improved financial stability for her family. Her goal is to save enough for old age and ensure a more secure and comfortable life in the future.
