Keur Ndiaga Saouda Group

This group is made up of 18 members and was created in November, 2009. The goal of the creation was to allow its members to expand their economic activities. The members live in the same locale and are all united by bonds of kinship and a strong solidarity. They have as their main activity retail sales. 

Fatou, the representative of the group is found at the right of the photo with the raised hand. Fifty years old she is married and the mother of 6 children of whom 3 are girls. She works in the sale of vegetables and dried fish. With this loan Fatou plans to buy various fresh vegetables and some dried fish for sale at the market in the area. With the profits realized she plans to save a part and to expand her business.
