Marcos, the first from left to right [in the photo], is a very simple and determined man. He lives in the house he owns and was born in the city of São Paulo, the capital.
He started working self-employed 5 years ago, after being dismissed from his formal employment job. He began his business activities little by little, in his garage, selling fruit.
Over time, he started setting up a stall at open-air markets and increased the quantity of items on offer, according to customer demand. He will use the loan to replenish his stock of fruits and vegetables.
